When I turn on Scratch Cutter mode, all software effects turn off. Can't I use software effects in Scratch Cutter mode?

To use software effects, press the [FX/CUT] button while pressing the [MODE] button in Scratch Cutter mode. To turn them off, press the [FX/CUT] button you selected while pressing the [MODE] button again.
