I can't connect my headphones when touching them to the touch area on the unit, even though they're SonicLink headphones. Why not?

This could be caused by any of the following issues.

■The touch area on the touch-pairing compatible SonicLink headphones isn't held to the unit correctly.
To find the touch area on the headphones, refer to the instruction manual that comes with them.

■The headphones' batteries are dead.
Check if the headphones turn on by themselves, and if not, charge them.

■ The headphones are being influenced by the surrounding environment.
Check that there are no devices (smartphones, NFC card readers, etc.) that generate electromagnetic waves in the 13.56 MHz band, another pair of touch-pairing compatible SonicLink headphones, or obstructions in the vicinity of the headphones touch area and the touch-pairing compatible SonicLink headphones.
Make sure there are no devices (microwave, radio, etc.) or obstructions in the surrounding area that generate electromagnetic waves in the 2.4 GHz band.
Move the touch area of the touch-pairing compatible SonicLink headphones as close as possible to the headphones touch area on the unit.

■You're not holding the headphones to the unit for long enough.
Touch-pairing compatible SonicLink headphones won't turn on if the headphones are held over the unit for a short period of time.
(The SonicLink indicator on the unit doesn't blink.)
In this case, continue to hold the headphones to the unit until the SonicLink indicator on the unit flashes.
