What kind of software is Ableton Live Lite?

This is the entry version of Ableton Live,　software for music production and live performance. It allows you to record and edit audio and MIDI, add effects, and play loops. When combined with Chordcat, you can greatly expand the range of phrases you can create and the structure of your songs.
You can also upgrade from Ableton Live Lite to the higher versions (Standard/Suite).
