Recording stops even if I do nothing. What can I do to prevent this?
Recording will automatically stop in the following cases:
- If a WAV file recording exceeds 6 hours.
- If the Auto Rec Stop function in the DJM-REC app is turned on.
Other causes on your iPhone/iPad include the following:
- Receiving or making phone calls.
- Alarms or timers sounding.
- Notifications from other apps (such as email and message apps).
- Other apps performing audio-related operations (such as recording and playback).
If any of the above applies, you can prevent recording from automatically stopping by doing all of the following.
- Update the firmware of your DJ equipment to the latest version.
- Turn on Airplane mode on your iPhone/iPad.
- Turn on Do Not Disturb on your iPhone/iPad.
- Turn off the [Auto Rec Stop] function in DJM-REC.
NOTE: Even with the above steps, it's not possible to record more than 4 GB (approximately 6 hours) if the audio format for recording is WAV.
Set the recording format to AAC format when recording for more than 6 hours.
