What should I check when using DJM-REC?
Check the following before using DJM-REC:
- You're using the latest version of DJM-REC.
- Your DJ equipment is supported by DJM-REC.
- The firmware of your DJ equipment is the latest version.
- Your iPhone/iPad must be properly connected to the DJ equipment.
Note: The DJM-V5 is not compatible with iPhones or iPads equipped with a Lightning connector, so they won't be recognized even if connected. Please connect and use with iPhones or iPads equipped with a USB Type-C port. Please use a USB cable that supports data transfer. MFi certification is not required.
To prevent recording from stopping automatically, check the following:
- The firmware of your DJ equipment is updated to the latest version.
- Turn on Airplane mode on your iPhone/iPad.
- Turn on Do Not Disturb on your iPhone/iPad.
- Turn off the [Auto Rec Stop] function in DJM-REC.
- When recording for more than 6 hours, set the recording format to AAC.
