The sound doesn't change when I slide the crossfader. Why not?

1. Go to Serato DJ Lite > [Setup] > [Mixer] tab, and cancel [Disable] in the [Crossfader] section.

2. When the unit is in Tracking Scratch mode, the crossfader operation is disabled. Choose a mode other than Tracking Scratch.
