After changing the DDJ-XP2 settings, I can't control my DJ application or DJ players (e.g. CDJs).

The following steps might solve the problem.

1. Disconnect the USB cable from the DDJ-XP2.
2. Ithe DJ application is running, close it.
3. While holding down both the left and right [LOAD] buttons, connect the USB cable to the DDJ-XP2.
4. Press the [PAD MODE 3] button on the left.
5. Press the pad (Pad 3 on the left) to turn it on.
6. Press the rotary selector.
7. Make sure the Pad mode button flashes and then lights up.
8. Disconnect the USB cable from the DDJ-XP2.

When Pad 3 is lit, the DDJ-XP2 will automatically enter the Controller mode that best suits the connected compatible DJ application or DJ players. When Pad 7 is lit, it's forced to enter the general MIDI controller mode. So, when a compatible DJ application or DJ player is connected while Pad 7 is lit, the unit won't work properly. For example, you won't be able to switch modes or the pads will be misaligned.
