Can I send project files to my friends?

Sending only project files will not allow your friends to reproduce the projects unless they have the same sample source files in the same hierarchy. Use the “SAVE AS PACKAGE” item in the PROJECT menu to save the project file and the sample source files as a single-file package. This file can be opened as-is on other DJS-1000 units, to completely reproduce the package, including the sample source files.
Packages can be exchanged between the DJS-1000 and TORAIZ SP-16 by updating the firmware of the TORAIZ SP-16 to the latest version.
