How does the SQUID work when I set [IN Sync Mode] to [GATE] or [1step] in the [CLOCK] settings in the GLOBAL menu?
[GATE] and [1step] differ from conventional timing clock used for sync performance, therefore you can control the
playback of the sequence patterns on the SQUID differently.
[1step]: the sequence pattern is advanced by one step when 1 pulse is input. With a constant period of pulse signal input, it works the same way as the 4ppqn settings.
[GATE]:Gate Input of V-Trigger.
A pattern plays while the Gate signal is being input and pauses while no Gate signal is being input. If the Gate signal is input while the sequence pattern is in the stopping state, the sequence pattern playback will start from the first step.
・ When using the CLOCK IN terminal as a gate input, please set [Sync Source] in the [Sync Common] setting category in the GLOBAL menu other than [CLOCK].
If you set the CLOCK IN terminal to [GATE] and set [Sync Source] to [CLOCK], the reference clock to play the sequence pattern will disappear, therefore the sequence pattern will not be played even if the gate signals are inputted.
・ The CLOCK IN terminal corresponds to V-Trigger only, so even if you connect a S-Trigger device like a foot pedal, you can't control the SQUID with [1step] or [GATE] setting.
