The last settings are not kept in the memory.

The TIME/REMAIN, AUTO CUE, MASTER TEMPO, TEMPO RANGE, QUANTIZE and the various UTILITY settings are only stored in the memory 5 seconds after they are made. If the power is set to standby less than 5 seconds after they are set, they are not stored.
When settings are changed, wait at least 5 seconds before setting the power to standby.
