Audio distortion, glitches, clicks, dropouts or noise
Check the following.
1. Does your computer meet the operating requirements of the DJ software?
->DJM-S9 Serato DJ
2. Are the sound volume adjustment control and slider set appropriately?
-> Troubleshooting > No sound is output from the headphones or from Master Out.
3. Is the buffer size properly adjusted?
-> Functions > How should I adjust the buffer size?
4. Are you using a USB hub?
-> USB hubs cannot be used. Be sure to connect DJM-S9 directly to the USB port on the computer.
5. Are other applications running?
-> Close all other applications including the screen saver and resident software.
(When closing antivirus and other security software, before doing so, disable the Internet connection to ensure the security of your computer.)
6. Are the USB cables connected properly?
-> Connect the computer and DJM-S9 properly with the included USB cable.
7. Is your computer set to power saving mode?
-> Cancel the power saving mode of your computer.
8. Does your computer have a wireless connection function or Bluetooth function?
-> Turn off the wireless connection or Bluetooth function.
9. Are USB devices other than DJM-S9 connected?
-> Remove external hard disks and the keyboard (for some models), etc. to check the status with only the built-in hard disk.
10. If your computer has more than one USB terminal, check using a different USB terminal.
