No sound is produced or volume is low. Sound is distorted.

There are five possible causes.

1. Are the connection cables properly connected?
Connect the connection cables properly. For details, see "Connecting input/output terminals" in the Operating Instructions of this unit.
2. Are the terminals and plugs dirty?
Clean the terminals and plugs before making connections.
3. Is the input selector switch on the rear panel set properly?
Set the input selector switch properly. For details, see "Connecting input/output terminals" in the Operating Instructions of this unit.
4. Haven't you connected the output terminals on this unit to the PHONO input terminals on the mixer?
The output terminals on this unit are line level. Connect to the LINE input terminals on the mixer.
5. This unit has THRU output and USB output. Did you select it properly? You can change it in rekordbox or the setting utility of this unit.
When the unit is not connected via USB and powered by the AC adapter, THRU output is always selected.
