Can I choose to not output the microphone sound via the BOOTH output?

Yes. You can do this by turning off [MIC OUT TO BOOTH] in the Utility settings. For details, see [Changing the settings] and [MIXER category] in the [Utility settings] in the Operating Instructions, available [here].
