The last settings are not kept in the memory.

The last memory of TIME/REMAIN, AUTO CUE, MASTER TEMPO, TEMPO RANGE, QUANTIZE and various UTILITY settings starts 5 seconds after the settings are done. There is no last memory if the device is turned on within 5 seconds after the settings are done.
After changing settings, wait at least 5 seconds before turning the power off.
