I hear clipping noises in tracks I’ve played on the PLX-500 and recorded in rekordbox.
If you can hear clipping noises in tracks you’ve played on the PLX-500 and recorded in rekordbox, follow the steps below.
Please note: these instructions are based on using Windows 10.
- Close
- Unplug the USB cable connecting the PLX-500 and your
- Open [Control Panel] > [Sound].
- On the [Playback] tab, select the device as [Default Device], and click [Properties].
- From [Advanced] > [Default Format], make a note of the sample rate in [XXXXX Hz] and close the [Properties]
* [48000 Hz] is shown in the above window as an example.
- Plug the USB cable back into your computer and connect it to the PLX-500.
- From [Sound] window > [Recording], select [LINE USB AUDIO CODEC] and click [Properties].
- Click [Advanced] > [Default Format] and select the same sample rate value [XXXXX Hz] that you saw in step 5. Then, click [OK] and close the
Please be sure not to select anything which includes [1 channel].
- Close the [Sound] window. Start rekordbox and begin recording
