Check the following items.

  1. Is the driver software installed?

For the installation procedure, check Operating Instructions.

  1. Is your computer recognizing the DDJ-SR2?

For Windows 10 or 8.1:

Click [Apps View] > [Pioneer] > [DDJ-SR2] > [DDJ-SR2 Setting Utility].

For Windows 7:

Click the [Start] menu > [All Programs] > [Pioneer] > [DDJ-SR2] > [DDJ-SR2 Setting Utility].

For macOS or OS X:

 1. Open the [Applications] folder in Finder.

 2. Click [Pioneer] > [DDJ-SR2] > [DDJ-SR2 Setting Utility].

   The unit has been recognized if the firmware version is displayed in the About tab.

  1. Is the USB cable connected properly?

Connect the computer and DDJ-SR using the included USB cable.

  1. Are you using a USB hub?

A USB hub cannot be used. Be sure to connect this unit to a USB port on the computer that can supply power.

  1. Are other applications running?

Exit all other applications including the screen saver and resident software.

(When exiting antivirus and other security software, before doing so, be sure to disconnect the Internet connection to ensure the security of your computer.)

  1. Are USB devices other than the DDJ-SR2 connected?

Remove external hard disks and the keyboard (for some models), etc. to check the status with only the built-in hard disk.

  1. If your computer has more than one USB port, check using a different USB port.
