Distorted sound.
There are two possible causes.
- Is [MASTER LEVEL] set to the proper position? Adjust [MASTER LEVEL] so that the master level indicator’s orange indicator lights at the peak level.
- Is [TRIM] set to the proper position? Adjust [TRIM] so that the orange indicator on the channel level indicator lights at the peak level.
If sound is distorted even after the I/O level is adjusted, the maximum allowable input of the power amplifier might have been exceeded. Use [MASTER ATT] in utilities mode to set the input to a suitable level. The level can be lowered to 50% at -6 dB and 70% at -3 dB. This setting is not interlocked with the master level indicator.
