No sound is output from the headphones of from Master Out.

Since DDJ-RZ supports various inputs, if those settings are not appropriate, sound will not be output.

[Select output audio]

Select the sound source used by each channel.

Select the CH/CH2 input source.

[CD]: Selected when using a line level output device such as a DJ player connected to the [CD] input terminal.

[USB]: Selected when using the rekordbox software to access tracks loaded on the deck.

Select the CH3/CH4 input source.

[LINE]: Selected when using a line level output device such as a DJ player connected to the [LINE] input terminal.

[PHONO]: Selected when using an output device of phono level (for MM cartridge) such as an analog player connected to the [PHONO] input terminal.

[USB]: Selected when using the rekordbox software to access tracks loaded on the deck.

[Output audio]

The following explains how to output audio of Channel 1.

-Output audio from Master Out.

Set the volume of devices (power amplifier, powered speakers, etc.) connected to the [MASTER OUT 1] and [MASTER OUT 2] terminals. If you turn up the volume too loud, use care as sound will be output at full blast.

  1. Set each control position of the unit.

  [MASTER LEVEL] control: Counterclockwise all the way

  Channel 1 [TRIM] control: Counterclockwise all the way

Channel 1 [ISO(HI、MID、LOW] control: Center

  Channel 1 Fader: Front side

  Channel 1 Crossfader assign selector switch: THRU

  1. Play the track
  2. Turn the [TRIM] control

  Adjust so that the orange indicator on the channel level indicator lights at the peak level.

  1. Move the channel fader to the rear side.
  2. Turn the [MASTER LEVEL] control to adjust the speaker audio level.

-Output audio from the headphones.

  1. Set each control position of the unit.

 [HEADPHONES LEVEL] control: Counterclockwise all the way

 [HEADPHONES MIXING] control: Center

  1. Press the headphone [CUE] button of Channel 1
  2. Turn the [HEADPHONES LEVEL] control.

Adjust the audio level output from the headphones to the appropriate sound volume.
