The sequencer doesn't work when I use this product with an external device. Why not?

A. When you perform in sync with Chordcat as the master.
The master clock may not be set correctly.
Go to the Settings menu > [MIDI IN Settings] category > [Sync Source] and select [Internal].

B. When you perform in sync with Chordcat, using an external unit as the master.
It's possible that Chordcat isn't correctly receiving the master clock and start/stop signals from the external device.
Please check the following.
1. Is the master clock receiving terminal set correctly?
Set the [Sync Source] setting in the [MIDI IN Settings] category in the Settings menu to the master clock receiving terminal.
2. Are the external master device and Chordcat connected correctly?
Check whether the master clock receiving terminal of Chordcat and the output terminal of the external master device are connected correctly.
3. Are master clock or start/stop signals coming out of the external master device?
Make sure the master device is set to master.
For information on the sync settings of the external device, please refer to its instruction manual.
4. Have you disabled the receiving settings of the start/stop and clock signals for MIDI input on Chordcat?
Set values for the [MIDI IN Settings] category in the Settings menu correctly.
