How to set MIX POINT LINK and how Silent feature works

When a track is loaded to DECK 1, select MIX OUT, play the track, and click the Hot Cue twice on the enlarged waveform to set it as the MIX OUT point.

 

Next, select MIX IN and click the Hot Cue twice on DECK 2 to set as a MIX IN point. (Not the one in the overall waveform)

 

Now the two tracks are ready to play in MIX POINT LINK.

 

Start DECK 1 before the mix point and click the MIX POINT LINK button. Then DECK 2 will play automatically when reaching the mix point.

The Silent feature works for the second track to ignore the highlighted part as in the screen shot.

 

 

It's explained in the FAQ that it is set in the MIX IN selection mode, so it doesn't work with the MIX OUT selection mode.
