What else do I need to start DJing with the DDJ-FLX2?

When connecting to a PC/Mac, you'll need the following.

- PC/Mac with DJ software that's compatible with the DDJ-FLX2 installed

- USB cable to connect to the PC/Mac (*1)

- Powered speakers or power amplifier, etc.

- Cable that's compatible with the input terminal of the device to be connected (*2)

- Headphones

 

When connecting to a mobile device via USB, you'll need the following.

- Mobile device

- USB cable to connect to the mobile device (*1)

- USB power adapter (sold separately) or mobile battery (sold separately) (*3)

- USB cable for power connection

- Powered speakers or power amplifier, etc.

- Cable that's compatible with the input terminal of the device to be connected (*2)

- Headphones

 

When connecting to a mobile device via Bluetooth, you'll need the following.

- Mobile device

- USB power adapter (sold separately) or mobile battery (sold separately) and a USB cable for power connection (*3)

- Split cable (sold separately)

- Powered speakers or power amplifier, etc.

- Cable that's compatible with the input terminal of the device to be connected (*2)

- Headphones

 

Sound does not output from the unit, but from the mobile device when they're connected via Bluetooth.

To monitor with headphones, you'll need a split cable.

 

*1: Be sure to use the correct type of USB cable, as specified below.

– To connect to a device with a USB Type-C port: use the USB cable supplied with the unit

– To connect to a device with a USB Type-A port: use a USB cable certified to the appropriate standard with a length of 3 m or less

 

*2: For example, if the input terminal of the device is an RCA pin plug (red/white), you'll need a 3.5 φ stereo mini plug – RCA pin plug cable.

 

*3: Use a USB power adapter or mobile battery that has the power supply voltage of DC +5V and the power supply ability of 500 mA or more. Use a mobile battery without a power-saving function.
