It's not possible to use a USB cable to connect the unit to an iPhone or iPad with a Lightning port.

• The following devices can be connected to the unit with a USB cable.

– iPhone or iPad with a USB Type-C port.

– Android device with a USB Type-C port.

You can connect devices that have a Lightning port via Bluetooth instead.
