I don't like the cut/curve of the crossfader. Can I adjust it?
Yes. You can adjust the crossfader curve and cut lag from the software settings as follows.
■ rekordbox for Mac/Windows
You can adjust the crossfader curve and cut lag in rekordbox [Preferences]> [Controller]> [Mixer] >[Crossfader curve]. The crossfader curve rises gradually as it's turned to the left. The more it's turned to the right, the steeper the curve becomes.
■ rekordbox for iOS/Android
Tap [Gear] > [General] and select your preferred setting in [Crossfader curve].
[Sharp]: As the crossfader is moved, the volume of the deck is instantly output at maximum.
[Smooth]: As the crossfader is moved, the volume of the deck gradually increases and is output.
Tap rekordbox icon > Gear icon > [DDJ-FLX2] and select your preferred setting in [Crossfader Curve] at the top of the screen.
To adjust cut lag, connect the mobile device and the unit, tap rekordbox icon at the top of the screen, tap Gear icon > [General] > [DDJ-FLX2] and select your preferred setting in [Crossfader Cut Lag] .
■ Serato DJ Lite
You can adjust the crossfader curve in Serato DJ Lite [Setup] > [Mixer].
■ djay
To adjust the crossfader curve, tap djay icon > Gear icon to open the [Settings] screen, then tap [Sound] and select your preferred setting in [Crossfader Curve].
*Crossfader curve affects the way the sound changes when you slide the crossfader. You can adjust it to suit your preference when scratching or mixing. Cut lag is the length of the silent zone at both ends of the crossfader.
