The app on my mobile device doesn't work correctly or the sound is delayed. Why?

Three main factors can cause this and there are three possible countermeasures.

■ If the timing of the connection is the cause

When the unit is connected to a mobile device via USB, the DDJ-FLX2 is powered by bus power from the mobile device.

If a mobile device with a low or out-of-charge battery is connected to the DDJ-FLX2, it may not be able to connect.

Fully charge the mobile device and reconnect it.

■ When USB connection and Bluetooth connection are established at the same time

If your mobile device is connected via Bluetooth and your PC/Mac is connected to the unit using a USB cable at the same time, you may not be able to control the app correctly.

Quit all applications on the PC/Mac, disconnect the USB cable from the PC/Mac, and reconnect it.

■ When the setup environment is the cause

The following measures may work if your mobile device is connected via Bluetooth.

- If devices generating electromagnetic waves in the 2.4 GHz band are located nearby, move them away from the DDJ-FLX2.

- Turn off the power of wireless devices using the 2.4 GHz band

- If your mobile device is far away, move it closer to the DDJ-FLX2.

*Examples of devices generating electromagnetic waves in the 2.4 GHz band: microwave oven, wireless LAN, or Bluetooth device

*If powered speakers or headphones are connected via Bluetooth or have the surround feature, the sound will be delayed (latency).
