Do I need to sign up for a rekordbox for Mac/Windows plan or buy a Serato DJ Pro Expansion Pack to use the relevant software with the unit?

You can use Performance mode for free by connecting the unit to a PC/Mac with rekordbox for Mac/Windows installed. This is called Hardware Unlock.

■Serato DJ Pro
You can use Serato DJ Pro for free by connecting the unit to a PC/Mac with the software installed.
Note: Key Sync/Key Reset, PITCH PLAY and KEY SHIFT are functions of the Pitch 'n Time DJ expansion pack, which is not included with Serato DJ Pro. To use these functions, you'll first need to buy and activate Pitch ‘n Time DJ.
