I don't like the cut of the crossfader. Can I adjust it?

Yes. The way to do this depends on the DJ software you're using.

■rekordbox for Mac/Windows
You can adjust the crossfader curve and cut lag in rekordbox [Preferences]> [Controller]> [Mixer].
Turn the curve to the left, and the curve gradually rises.
Turn the curve to the right, and the curve sharply rises.
For adjusting crossfader cut lag, see [Changing the settings in rekordbox for Mac/Windows] in [rekordbox for Mac/Windows] in the Instruction Manual.
You can read the Instruction Manual [here].

■rekordbox for iOS/Android
The crossfader curve can be switched at [Settings]>[General]>[Crossfader Curve].
[Sharp]: When the crossfader is moved, the volume of the destination DECK is instantly maximized.
[Smooth]: As the crossfader is moved, the volume of the destination DECK gradually increases.
The crossfader cut lag can be adjusted at [Settings]>[DDJ-GRV6 Settings]>[Crossfader Cut Lag].

■Serato DJ Pro
You can adjust the crossfader curve in Serato DJ Pro [Setup]> [Mixer] tab.
For adjusting crossfader cut lag, see [Changing the settings] > [Utilities mode settings] in the Instruction Manual.
You can read the Instruction Manual [here].

* Crossfader curve affects the way the sound changes when you slide the crossfader. You can adjust it to suit your preference when scratching or mixing. Cut lag is the length of the silent zone at both ends of the crossfader.
