Why can't I charge the battery? (The battery charge indicator is turned off or keeps blinking.)
(1) When the battery is fully (100%) charged, the battery indicator is turned off and can't be charged.
(2) If the supplied AC adapter (power cord) isn't used, charging may not be possible due to compatibility issues.
(3) Even if the supplied AC adapter is connected, the battery may not start charging due to the conditions of use (product load, ambient temperature).
When the battery's temperature rise protection function is activated, the battery can't be charged for safety reasons.
(The battery charge indicator blinks if the battery can’t start charging.)
(If the battery charge doesn't start due to the ambient operating temperature, a warning mark will appear on the battery icon in addition to the battery charge indicator blinking.)
*Leave the unit for about 10 minutes. After about 10 minutes, the battery charge indicator turns on and charging may begin.
*This is a guideline. Time varies depending on the conditions of use.
When (1) and (2) are not the case and (3) doesn't work:
1. Move the unit to a place where the temperature is in the recommended range (ambient temperature: 10°C - 25°C (50°F - 77°F) ).
2. Turn off the power to the unit.
3. Carry out steps 1 and 2 for about 10 minutes, leave the unit for about 10 minutes, and recharge the battery.
If the battery still can’t be charged (the battery indicator continues to blink), the battery may have failed. In this case, please contact our Service Center [here].
