As of September 30, 2011, TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO 2/DUO 2 sold by Native Instruments have evolved to Timecode MK2. The TRAKTOR SCRATCH DUO 2 software, the CONTROL CD/CONTROL VINYL included with the DJM-T1 also support Timecode MK2.
To use Timecode MK2, you must use TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO 2/DUO 2 version 2.2.1 or later and a CONTROL CD MK2/CONTROL VINYL MK2 disc. The method for achieving compatibility differs according to when you purchased your product. For details on achieving compatibility with Timecode MK2, see below.
Also, you may continue to use Timecode Version 1 as before. For compatibility between the various versions of the TRAKTOR series and CONTROL CD/CONTROL VINYL discs, see the Native Instruments web site.

CUSTOMERS WHO PURCHASED THEIR DJM-T1 ON OCTOBER 1, 2011 OR LATER

You must use TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO 2/DUO 2 version 2.2.1 or later and a CONTROL CD MK2/CONTROL VINYL MK2 disc.
Customers using a version of TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO 2/DUO 2 prior to version 2.2.1 should update to the latest version (free of charge).
Also, Native Instruments provides CONTROL CD MK2/CONTROL VINYL MK2 discs free of charge.

Updating TRAKTOR SCRATCH DUO 2 to the latest version
Update the TRAKTOR SCRATCH DUO 2 software to the latest version from the Native Instruments SERVICE CENTER. For instructions on launching the Native Instruments SERVICE CENTER and updating, see “Updating the TRAKTOR 2 software” in the DJM-T1’s operating instructions.

Acquiring CONTROL CD MK2/CONTROL VINYL MK2 discs
1. Perform product activation of the TRAKTOR SCRATCH DUO 2 software included with the DJM-T1. TRAKTOR SCRATCH DUO 2 product activation is performed from the Native Instruments SERVICE CENTER. For instructions on launching the Native Instruments SERVICE CENTER and updating, see “Performing product activation” in the DJM-T1’s operating instructions.
2. An e-mail indicating a coupon code will be sent from Native Instruments to the e-mail address you have registered.
3. By March 31, 2012 at the latest, use the coupon code at Native Instruments Online to perform the procedure for acquiring the CONTROL CD MK2/CONTROL VINYL MK2 discs free of charge.
4. The products will be sent by Native Instruments to the address you have registered.
