What type of cartridge do you recommend for use with the unit?

Be sure to choose cartridges that are suitable for your purpose: DJing or listening to music. The weight of the actual cartridge should be between 2.5 and 12 g.

You can use both MM-type and MC-type cartridges.

When using the MC type, connect a phono equalizer that's compatible with the MC type.

When connecting directly to a Pioneer DJ mixer, use the MM type.
