During playing a track, I can hear audio dropout or a noise. [TRAKTOR]
[For Mac]
Click [TRACTOR] > [Preferences] in the Menu bar or an Gear icon on upper right of the GUI to open [Preferences] to adjust buffer size in [LATENCY] from [Audio Setup].
1. See the current value where audio dropout or noise occurs.
2. Set the buffer size to larger than the value shown in Step 1 as well as the minimum value at which there are no dropout or noise in the sound.
*When the buffer size is increased, audio dropout or noise may not easily occur, but the latency (time lag due to the delay in the transfer of the audio data) will become larger.
[For Windows]
In the DDJ_WeGO3 ASIO Settings Utility, follow the steps below to adjust the buffer size.
1. Click the Windows [Start] menu > [All Programs] > [Pioneer] > [DDJ_WeGO3] > [DDJ_WeGO3 ASIO Settings Utility] to activate the Settings Utility.
For Windows 8, from [Start] click [DDJ_WeGO3 ASIO Settings Utility].
2. Is there any audio dropout in the default setting ([kernel buffer size]: 3, [buffer size]: 256 sample)?
If there is no dropout with the default setting:
Lower the buffer size to the minimum value at which no dropout occurs.
Then, set the kernel buffer size to [2] to check any dropout occurs. If it does not, set the kernel buffer size at [2] and if it does, at [3].
If there is dropout with the default setting:
Set the kernel buffer size to [4], then lower it to the minimum value at which no audio dropout occurs.
