Is there a specific order for connecting the DJ controller cable and starting djay/vjay? Can either be done first with no problem?

Start up the DDJ-ERGO before starting up the iPad application.

Also, do not connect or disconnect the cable while one is running.

If the cable is connected or disconnected at this time, a loud sound may be produced, potentially damaging the devices.
