Pulse Control is a function for staging DJ performances through changes in light and animations, using the channel faders that are equipped with built-in LEDs and the semitransparent "Pure Platter" jog dial equipped with red and blue LEDs.
*Main "Pulse Control" animations
1. "Mix Pulse"
The offset in the beats of tracks being mixed is indicated by the strength of the lights. The jog dial's blue light is strongest when the beats are perfectly in sync, and gets dimmer as the beats move further apart. This lets you check the offset of the beats visually so that the beats and tempos can be matched easily.
2. "Beat Pulse"
The LEDs in the channel faders light according to the strength of the beat. The brightness changes according to the level of sound being output from the individual channels, so the mixing of the tracks can be checked visually.
3. "Launch Pulse"
When the load button is pressed and a track is loaded, red light flows in the jogging direction, indicating visually that the track has been loaded.
4. "FX Pulse"
The lights on the jog dial move in various ways according to the effect that is operated, staging the DJ performance through the movement of the light in addition to the changes in the sound.
