With driver Ver. 1.001 and later, the number of kernel buffers can be adjusted, but how do I adjust the buffer size?
In the same way as the with the buffer size setting, lowering the value of the kernel buffer number setting lowers the latency, while raising it tends to reduce interruptions in sound.
Make the setting using the procedure below.
First, check whether interruptions in sound occur with the default settings (kernel buffer number: 3, buffer size: 256 samples).
[If interruptions in sound do not occur with the default settings]
Gradually lower the buffer size, setting it to the lowest number at which sound is not interrupted.
After this, set the kernel buffer number to 2 and check whether or not sound is interrupted. If so, set the kernel buffer number to 3.
[If interruptions in sound occur with the default settings]
Set the kernel buffer number to 4, then set the buffer size to the lowest number at which sound is not interrupted.
