The sound is distorted.

(1) Are the [MAIN VOL] and [GAIN] controls set to appropriate positions? Adjust the [MAIN VOL] and [GAIN] controls while watching the [MAIN] level indicator in TRAKTOR.

(2) Is the audio input to the [AUX IN] and [MIC] terminals set to an appropriate level?

Set the audio level input to the respective terminals to appropriate levels for the connected devices.

(3) Are unbalanced signals being output from the [MASTER OUT 1] terminal with a monaural cable?

With unbalanced outputs, the sound will be distorted unless the output is set to an appropriate level. Set the output to an appropriate level using the [MAIN VOL] control.
