The JOG dial does not react even when touching it.

Please check the following things.
1) Is the firmware the latest?
The firmware is system software program on DDJ-SX device.
Please update the latest firmware to enhance the product's performance.
2) Aren't the jog dials dirty?
Because the jog on this unit has a touch sensor, dirt or hand cream on your hand onto the jog would prevent the touch sensor from fully functioning.
Please use a soft and dry cloth for cleaning the jog.
Clean the stain with the dampened and wrung-out cloth with diluted neutral detergent by 5-6 times of water.
Then, wipe the jog using a dry cloth.
3) Is the position of TOUCH SENSOR LEVEL properly adjusted?
The [TOUCH SENSOR LEVEL] knob adjust the sensitivity of the jog 's touch sensor.
First, turn the [TOUCH SENSOR LEVEL] knob further to the right (MAX position), then turn it to the left gradually to adjust the sensitivity level.
(Depending on the floor materials where the unit is placed and grounding conditions of other devices connected to the unit, the jog sensitivity may change. After any change is made for the location of the unit or the connected devices, it is recommended to readjust the TOUCH SENSOR LEVEL.)

4) When the jog does not react as expected even though the [TOUCH SENSOR LEVEL] knob is turned to the MAX position, please conduct the following test to sort out the cause:
-Touch on a jog with one hand and touch on any part of DDJ-SX other than the jogs with another hand:
If the jog does not work, the unit itself could be the cause of this problem.
If the jog works, the problem could be caused by the devices connected to the unit.
-Depending on your computer, especially for a Build-to-Order PC, an amplifier connected to DDJ-SX and the grounding conditions, the touch sensor of the jogs might not work properly as expected.
Please try the following method:
-Connect [Signal GND] of DDJ-SX to [GND] of your computer or [Signal GND] of your amplifier to check if the touch sensor of the jogs works properly or not.

Note:
When analog players are connected, ensure that only analog players are connected to [Signal GND]. Otherwise, if other devices than the analog players are connected to [Signal GND], noise might be generated because this is not a proper way of connecting such devices.
