When I connect the computer (Windows) and this unit (the DDJ-SX) by USB cable, launch Serato DJ then turn on this unit’s power, this unit is recognized for a second but the connection drops immediately.

The driver software must be installed when using a Windows computer.

Check that the following software is installed on your computer:

Start menu

- All Programs

- Pioneer

- DDJ_SX

- Pioneer DDJ ASIO Settings Utility

If “Pioneer DDJ ASIO Settings Utility” is not installed, refer to “Installing the software” and install the driver software.
