Sound is distorted.

Check the following:

1. Are the [MASTER LEVEL] and [TRIM] controls set to the proper positions? Adjust the [MASTER LEVEL] and [TRIM] controls, watching the level meter.

2. Is the audio level being input to the input terminals properly set? Set the audio level input to the respective terminals according to the connected device.

3. Is the [MASTER OUT 1] terminal being used as an unbalanced output with a monaural cable? With an unbalanced output, the sound will be distorted unless the output is set to an appropriate level. Set the output to an appropriate level using the [MASTER LEVEL] control.
