There is sound skipping, intermittent sound, distorted sound or noise.

Check the following items:
1. Does your computer meet the environment specifications for the DJ software?
2. Are the sound volume adjustment knob and slider set appropriately?
3. Is the buffer size properly adjusted?
⇒ Go to Basic Functions > How can I adjust the buffer size?
4. Are the input levels of connected devices such as microphones appropriate?
⇒ Go to Troubleshooting > Sound from the microphone is distorted.
5. Is the master tempo function on?
⇒ When the master tempo function is on, the sound quality changes because key control processing is performed to keep the key constant. This change in sound quality is normal for the product's specification. It is not a malfunction.
6. Are you using a USB hub?
⇒ USB hubs cannot be used. Connect this unit to the USB terminal of the computer directly.
7. Are other applications running?
⇒ Close all other applications including the screen saver and resident software. (When quitting various security software, etc. make sure to disconnect the Internet connection to ensure the safety of your computer.)
8. Are the USB cables connected properly?
⇒ Use the included USB cable or a USB 2.0 cable to connect the computer and DDJ-SZ.
9. Is your computer set to power saving mode?
⇒ Cancel the power saving mode of your computer.
10. Does your computer have a wireless connection function or Bluetooth function?
⇒ Turn off the wireless connection or Bluetooth function.
11. Are USB devices other than DDJ-SZ connected?
⇒ Remove external hard disks and the keyboard (for some models), etc. to check the status with only the built-in hard disk.
12. If your computer has more than one USB terminal, check using a different USB terminal.
