Distorted sound.

There are two possible causes.

3. Is [MASTER LEVEL] set to the proper position? Adjust [MASTER LEVEL] so that the master level indicator’s orange indicator lights at the peak level.

2. Is [TRIM] set to the proper position? Adjust [TRIM] so that the orange indicator on the channel level indicator lights at the peak level.

If sound is distorted even after the I/O level is adjusted, the maximum allowable input of the power amplifier might have been exceeded. Use "Master output attenuator level setting" in utilities mode to set the input to a suitable level. The level can be lowered to 50% at -6 dB and 70% at -3 dB. This setting is not interlocked with the master level indicator.

If you use Serato DJ, is Track Gain Adjust of the Serato DJ software set to an appropriate position? If not, set to the appropriate position.
