What else do I need to start DJing?

You'll need a PC/Mac, powered speakers and headphones.

If you use the PC Master Out feature, you can output the audio from your PC/Mac's speaker.

When connecting to a PC/Mac, you'll need the following.

- PC/Mac with a DJ application compatible with the DDJ-FLX4 installed

- USB cable to connect to PC/Mac (*1)

- Powered speakers or power amplifiers, etc.

- Headphones

When connecting to a mobile device, you'll need the following.

- USB power adapter (not supplied) or mobile battery (not supplied) (2) and a USB cable for connection

- mobile device

- Powered speakers or power amplifiers, etc.

- Headphones

- USB cable to connect to the mobile device (1)

*You can connect your mobile device with the unit via Bluetooth. In this case, you don't need a USB cable and sound does not output from the unit, but from the mobile device.

*1 Be sure to use the USB cable specified below.

- To connect to a device with a USB Type-C port: use the USB cable supplied with the unit

- To connect to a device with a USB Type-A port: use a USB cable certified to the appropriate standard with a length of 3 m or less

- To connect to a device with a Lightning terminal: use an Apple certified cable with a length of 3 m or less

*2 Use a mobile battery which doesn't have a power-saving function. The maximum voltage is 24V or less and DC 9V 3A for the USB power adapter or mobile battery.
